The client wanted to embrace the original, mid-century modern style of the cottage so we went with a clean grain pattern that also offered a generous resale value. 
We were able to complete the job on short notice and on time before furniture was scheduled to be delivered and set up. We saved them hundreds of dollars by ordering unfinished quarter round and finished them by hand ourselves, along with finding the best price for the style of wood they wanted by researching our network of suppliers. They were very pleased with the outcome of both our service and craftmanship!

This home had white oak floors covered with carpet. The owner wanted to remove all carpet and refinish the floors using a dark stain. We customized the stain in order to achieve the exact color and tone the client had envisioned. After applying the stain, we used three coats of semi-gloss, oil-based polyurethane for a rich and elegant finish!

This old antique house was build in the 1840’s with additions added on throughout the years. Some of the challenges we faced with the pine floors was achieving even color from one room that had older floors to another other room with newer floors. With proper sanding and stain application, we were able to achieve an even tone throughout the rooms.

We were able to deliver the dark shade of brown the client wanted while maintaining the illusion of space and expansion by selecting a reflective high gloss finish. The result was stunning!

Hardwood Flooring install w/ English Chestnut Stain Finish

3 1/4" Red Oak, hardwood flooring installed and sanded with English Chestnut stain. Finished with three coats of oil base, semi-gloss polyurethane. This was a 1,000 sq ft project encompassing the kitchen, dining and living room space.
